You owe it to yourself to check out Beatallica, a band that mixes Metallica and the Beatles in a highly amusing way. I've mentioned them here before.
Well, now they need your help. They're being sued by the a-holes at Sony for copyright infringement of The Beatles work, despite the fact that they're doing parodies, which is legal. You can help them by signing their petition.
This is the coolest thing ever and Sony has no right to shut them down. Let them rock!
ReplyDeleteI think they help with Beatle record sales, not hurt. Please drop your law suits!
ReplyDeleteThese guys deserve the right to rock..They haven't broken any laws. Screw you Sony.
ReplyDeleteI hate censorship of ANY KIND...parody...ever hear of WEIRD AL YANKOVICK...give me a break. Like this band was going to hurt the payroll of Sony...well it will a little...I WILL NEVER BUY A SONY PRODUCT AGAIN.
ReplyDeleteEhh... it's in NO way as good as any of the real mash-ups: "The Grey Album" or "The Beastles." I couldn't care less if it disappeared.
ReplyDelete- Mark
I've never heard of either of those, but if they too are parodies, and you like them, I would think that Sony targeting Beatallica would worry you. I'm sure Sony's not going after Beatallica from questions of musical taste, after all.
ReplyDeletesalven a beatallica es una buena banda
