Writing software as a hobby is great and I am crazy enough to do that even though my professional engagement in the industry is almost eating me alive. But making dasBlog available for free and as open-source is also a conscious business decision that I made because it brings a marketing benefit for things that actually make money -- among them are strictly commercial project work and paid education for people doing strictly commercial software.<br /><br />Finally: dasBlog is BSD licensed.
